About Westacre Nursing Home

A Winchester nursing home providing permanent or respite care for vulnerable adults

Situated in the picturesque area of Sleepers Hill in Winchester, Westacre Nursing Home is registered with the Care Quality Commission as a care home and reviewed on CareHome.co.uk. Westacre provides care for older people with physical care needs and those with all types of dementia.

The original home is a charming Edwardian building with many original features. In recent years there have been two significant extensions to the home which means it is now fully equipped to provide modern nursing care, combining character and charm with functionality.

Caring Staff

The home provides care for 50 residents with a dedicated team of nursing and care staff. Trained nurses include RNs and RMNs (available at all times), supported by our well qualified care team, many of whom have the NVQ3 Level qualification.

Achieving our Aims

At Westacre, we believe that provision of high quality care for vulnerable people should be a fundamental expectation. To achieve these aims, there are four areas upon which we have concentrated to establish the standards of care we wish to provide.

  4. Management and Administration
